Are you a singer-songwriter, MC or producer; in a band or awesome singer and want free promotion on Urban Planet, then now is your chance to get in touch. Whatever sort of music you are into - Indie, Rock, Dance, Hip Hop or RnB, if you are a performer we want to hear from you for our soon-to-launch Unsigned Section.

Urban Planet Unsiged will differ from many similar websites in that not all bands will be given access to join the website, and even if acts are lucky enough to be deemed good enough to join the exclusive Unsigned music section; if the support isn’t there for your band from fans, then your page will be taken down.

“Anyone who is anyone in music these days has a MySpace page. This is fine, but from a music fan’s point of view they have to trawl through quite a lot of utter dross before they find the really good bands, playing the music they like,” says Dale Lovell, Editor of the Urban Planet website.

“With the launch of Urban Planet Unsigned we are still looking to promote new music, but we are acting as a filter to the content, so that users don’t have to waste time with poor quality music and they will know when they listen to music on the site that it will be quality content.”
