Everything you need to know about The Big Chill Festival, including latest news, information and Big Chill lineup.
Set in Herefordshire’s stunning Eastnor Castle Deer Park, the Big Chill is a multimedia festival with a huge variety of music genres from dance to folk to experimental electronic as well as art, dance and film.
The Big Chill Festival Information
Since its modest beginning when a few hundred people turned up for the day at Islington’s Union Chapel, the festival now has a capacity of 27,000 and has spawned an army of dedicated Chillers who return every year to jam with DJs in the Club Tent or spot the unsigned hotter-than-hot. Past talent discoveries include Gotan Project, Royksopp, Amy Winehouse, Mr Scruff and Goldfrapp.
Other attractions include comedy and installation acts, exotic food stalls, art trails, the 24 Hour Café, bars and a Body & Soul field with healers, masseurs and alternative therapists. Wordsmiths should look out for Words in Motion for literary inspiration.
The Big Chill also has a spin-off bar and a record label that specialises in fresh talent.
