This debut album from Skylark is a foray into the world of electronica. Cool vibes and electro pop rhythms combine to create an album with a funky yet sophisticated urban beat, Claims our music critique Davina Richards.

The founders, Nic Fanciulli and Andy Chatterly have been working together for over 10 years and have created over 20 remixes and original productions. The 14 tracks on this album range from West Coast-esque house to intelligent, melodic proggy sounds.

Some songs make you want to listen while others draw you to the dancefloor. The downfall may be that with many of the songs the background beat is similar and increasingly repetitive.

This is not a bad release from Skylark, best appreciated as something to dip in and out of in a party atmosphere- if listened to stone cold sober it soon becomes headache inducing music.
