We review the latest hit from the duo, Tamborzuda.

Joshua Harvey the producer/songwriter/DJ and Remixer also known as the Count of Monte Cristal, alongside Sinden, was behind one of the recent underground smash hits, Beeper – you know the one with the lyrics repeated ‘Get me on my beeper’ trumpeted loudly by the likes of Pete Tong – and if you are a fan of the Old Skool rave scene as much as Nu Rave then the latest track from Sinden and Count of Mounte Cristal, featuring Mc Thiagunho, called Tamborzuda, will most definitely appeal.

From the start of the track, complete with its a Prodigy-esque sample, plus some filthy, bouncing beats straight out of the D&B master file, you know you are listening to no ordinary tune. The great beat aside this track also has some incomprehensible rapping courtesy of MC Thiagunho, which some MC fans will undoubtedly love, but personally I could ditch the lyrics in their entirety and content myself with that fabulous bassline. But don’t get me wrong this track has lots of imaginative parts, is an instant ear-pleasingly good mish-mash of various dance styles and is undoubtedly set to do well over the next few months.
