Planets is a meteoric conquest for Sebastien Leger, one of the most talented DJ’s on the electronic scene at the moment.
Set for release this winter, the album consists of 11 tracks written by Sebastien each of which has been named after a planet in our solar system.
The album launches with the track ‘Pluto’ an eclectic mix of beats and funky broken synths that moves through elements of electro, house and techno.
'Uranus' is a colossal peak time track with subtle nuances and a groovy bass line that won’t fail to get you moving.
In 'Mercury', a moodier more evocative aspect takes hold revealing a darker side to Sebastian.
Unfortunately the pace drops in some of the later tracks, ‘Jupiter’ in particular being too repetitive and you will need some self discipline to listen to number 9, ‘Sun’ all the way through.
‘Planets’ is, as Sebastien explains, 'a club orientated album’ and will, I believe, prove popular on the clubbing circuit.
