The last time I went I stayed in Brown Camp. It's further away from the arena but it means there is much more room and your tent is less likely to get trashed.

Reading is a great festival, great location, great bands. The music is great with lots of super bands. Highlights for me in recent years have been the Foo Fighters and the Chilli Peppers way back when.
