After having too much fun predicting the talent of 2008, we thought we would continue with our quest, to expose the artists we think will make it big in 2008.
The Revenue
Runners up in the Mobile Act Unsigned competition, launched to find the UKs hottest unsigned band, we rate The Revenue highly.
Peterborough boys James, Jonny, Pato, Sav and cocky front man Adam formed Revenue in 2002, seamlessly mixing rock and indie with some cool lyrics. They’re touring early this year and their songs can be downloaded from their MySpace page: Take a look here.

Glasvegas
Currently unsigned, but probably not for long, the Glasvegas are sure to be Scotland’s largest band in a long time.
Mixing vintage rock and pop the 3 boys and 1 girl that form Glasvegas, made it to the number fourth spot in the BBC's Sound of 2008 poll to find new UK musical talent. To here this highly original band for yourself, Click here

Envy and Other Sins
Initially we didn’t want them to win but they did and Envy and Other Sins were the champions of Mobile Act Unsigned. However we quickly came to our senses and soon released the sheer talent of this band.
Our favourite tracks include “Highness Demo”, “Man Bites Dog” and “Talk to Strangers”. We won’t be surprised if these chaps top the charts in 2008.

The Parlotones
Their musical track record, in native South Africa, is one to marvel at, with big hits, sell out gigs and a huge fan base. However The Parlotones are relatively unknown in the UK.
2008 will see the release of their first UK release, with the track “Beautiful” and we think they are likely to recruit a new crew of British music junkies following close behind. We rate this band highly, Visit: www.myspace.com/theparlotones
