Ibiza DJs sizzle at Mezzanine's legendary beach party under the stars in Tulum, along Mexico's Mayan Riviera.

Toss off the winter jacket, grab a bikini and get ready to groove. Revellers and electronic music enthusiasts need not go far to party thanks to a solid lineup of visiting DJs who bring a bit of legendary Ibiza stardust to Mezzanine's beachside bashes in Tulum, Mexico.

Mezzanine's winter line up boasts some of the hottest DJ luminaries playing at Tulum's hippest beachside hotel: a sleek, four-suite contemporary hotel, lounge and Asian restaurant that has injected new energy into the Mayan Riviera's traditional rustic tourism scene.

The year started with a bang as guest DJ Jamie Gittins (www.myfunkyhat.com), who carved a name for himself in Ibiza and the UK, brought his notorious Filthy Gorgeous club night to Mezzanine for a rousing New Year's Eve bash of fire eaters, performance artists, stilt walkers and fire dancers. Party-goers danced under the stars on a stone terrace overlooking the aquamarine Caribbean sea or on the soft talcum sand known to Mexico's Mayan Riviera, while sipping on tropical drinks, champagne, caipirinahs, mojitos and tequila.

Jamie spent three months playing every Friday night fiesta as Mezzanine's resident DJ and with the hotel's own Jorge Fernandez on deck duty helped the beach bashes gain great industry accolades as one of the best house music parties in Mexico.

Brighton, Englander Ben Prok is never one to let a good opportunity slip by so when he was vacationing on Ibiza and was given a guest slot to play at Plastic Fantastic, he truly delivered and landed a four- month residency there.

He is now a resident DJ at Brighton's Honey Club following several other notable appearances at Ibiza's Kanya, Eden & Es Paradis and more of the island's finest parties, and spun at Mezzanine in January 2006, supplying the crowd with deep west coast house and funky, Latin-tinged beats.

Vicky Devine (www.vickydevine.com), another UK and Ibiza based DJ and producer, has rapidly risen into the scene as one of the dance industry's top female performers, landing gigs and residencies in clubs from Australia and New Zealand to Russia, Malta and Dubai, most notably Superclub BCM in Majorca and Ministry in Scotland.

Vicky started off as a club reviewer, then graduated to promotion and currently wows crowds in Ibiza's biggest clubs with a female DJ act known as "Charlie's Angels".
