When did you first go to Creamfields?

"I first went to a Creamfields in Southern Ireland and I can honestly say it was one of the biggest highlights of my career, the crowd and whole experience was just outstanding."

What are your festival essentials?

"Sunglasses or an umbrella, whatever the case! A spare pair of shoes again just in case of any mud, other than that Creamfields provide the rest. Just take yourself and a good attitude."

What's the main difference between playing in a venue and at a festival?

"At a festival there is a totally different atmosphere than a venue. You have the best entertainment laid on for you and everyone seems to have that holiday vibe, so not only is it great fun to go mental to some fantastic djs and live acts, it is also lovely to chill outside and hang out with your friends."

How did you get into DJing and producing your own tunes?

"I always went to clubs like the Wag Club in London since I was 16, but discovered the dance scene when I was around 21. As soon as I discovered it I became totally obsessed, and being able to spin two records together for me was just another way for me to get closer to the scene. I bought the records I heard at the weekend anyway to keep as memories, so the next step was to buy some decks. As for production, after a while playing other peoples tunes was not enough for me, I wanted to be able to spin my own tunes so I started to write my own music. It is just the best feeling ever to be able to put one of your own records on the decks and see the crowd go wild to it."

How does it feel to be in the male dominated business of DJing?

"It has never been a problem for me, I suppose there was a lot more pressure to prove myself, at the time there were only a handful of girl djs around and I got the impression people thought of us more of a novelty act. So I rose to the challenge, and it made me more determined to prove them wrong and I some how got a big of a kick out it."

You really interact with the crowd at every event. What were you like as a clubber before DJ-ing?

"I was a bit of a mad clubber and used to be literally the first clubber on the dance floor at the beginning of the night, right to being the last to leave, so now I am just enjoying myself as much as I did back then but now getting paid for it! Part of going clubbing to me was always meeting loads of interesting people that had the same interests as me and that has not changed. Now I just get to dictate what music is on while I am having a good time!"

Not only are you a busy girl giging all around the world, I hear you have recently set up an new record label called 'Pin-Up records.' How is it going?

"Yes it's my brand new label where every track on the label will be produced by myself with up and coming artists on remix duties. The first release was out in January and was called 'Party tonight'. All vinyl copies have now sold out, but I have just done a deal with Tidy Trax for this release and future releases to be downloaded from their web site."

Have you got any new tunes coming out that you will be airing at Creamfields?

"Yes I have two new tunes coming out on Nukleuz that I will definitely be pumping out to the crowd. The latest release is a double a sider called 'Machine Gun Madness/Really Like Cocaine' and I will be belting out both of these. They will also be featuring on my new mix compilation 'Hard House Anthem Vol 6' which is also released this summer also through Nukleuz."
