Emotion and beauty. Trance is the only form of dance music that can make nothing else matter.

The new Dogzilla. It's astoundingly good. Going to be a major summer anthem.

Tell us about the best clubs / bars in you home town?

Well I live in a small town so the clubs/bars are just discos with chart R&B music. Pretty grim really!

Tell us about your latest releases and remixes?

O'Callaghan & Kearney - Restricted Motion, on Discover is doing amazingly well. The first batch has sold and there's still huge demand for it.

I've just remixed the new Fred Baker track, also working on 2 new vocal remixes - hopefully summer anthems in the making! Next out is the Inertia remix of Thomas Datt - Alone, followed by Inertia - The Chamber, on Discover records, which is currently being caned by Paul van Dyk!

Music downloads: friends or foe?

Friend. Without legal mp3 downloads (Audiojelly/Beatport) how would people without vinyl buy the latest trance releases? It's essential.

How do you unwind?

I like movies a lot, so its either watching a DVD on the couch or Eastenders!

My middle name is actually Mannix (i.e Mannix-Mercury on Armada). I have a dog called Leo. The first CD I ever bought was Pulp - Different Class.

What’s the best piece of advice anyone has ever given you?

Don't get married 'til your 30!
