Hop Farm Festival Guide: About Hop Farm Festival

Launched in 2008 Hop Farm festival sets itself apart from the other gigs around the UK. Unlike Virgin or the O2 Wireless Festival, Hop Farm says no to pre registration, VIP areas and all major branding.

Instead the one day only gig takes pride in putting music at the centre of the event- giving gig goers a great atmosphere to both party and relax in.

Hop Farm is organised and created by Vince Powers also known as the God Father of Gigs. He is responsible for the increasingly popular Benicassim music festival in Spain, the Mean Fiddler Group and Reading & Leeds Festival.

Gig goers can expect a variety of acts at the farm but mostly bands and artists who could be categorised as indie/rock.

For a better idea of the musical talent present at the festival - the line up for 2008 includes Neil Young, Primal Scream, Supergrass, My Morning Jacket, Rufus Wainwright and the Guillemots.
