If it’s Drum n’ Bass you are after then Cardiff based Link Barrett aka High Contrast, signed to the consistently impressive Hospital label, delivers.

High Contrast's debut album, True Colours, released in 2002, made him a regular on the drum & bass DJ circuit and more recently he has released mix albums for Fabric – Fabric25: High Contrast - and Mixmag as well as seeing his White Stripes remix all over Radio 1.

For the Welshman’s many fans starved of new material, High Contrast is currently working on his third album, which is soon-to-be released in 2007. Betting against it being a belter of a new album is probably unwise, and expect to hear his anthemic D&B tunes on a dance floor near you soon.
