Twelve months since the release of their second album, clubland sensation Goodgreef bring forth the follow up. Aiming to capture the explosive essence of the club, Goodgreef Album 3 mixed by Yoji Biomehanika & Alex Kidd offers a glimpse of what is currently igniting the dance floor at the club that has pushed the boundaries of Hard Dance.

Across the two discs “Goodgreef Album 3” showcases an incredible fusion of styles - blending energetic UK & European hard trance, techno & hard dance rippers. First up is Alex Kidd (Goodgreef’s longest serving resident) who mixes CD1. Having been voted a “Mixmag Future Hero” at the start of 2004 he went on to show why by blowing away the crowds at Creamfields, HQ in Amsterdam and on his Australia tour. On this CD you hear his incredible originality and versatility with a mix that encompasses the whole range of harder music that’s currently causing crowds to erupt.

Following the same format as the last album CD2 features a guest mix from someone who has ripped the roof off at Goodgreef events. Yoji Biomehanika is such a man. Not only is he the most popular DJ in Japan, or the biggest international name in hard dance, he is a legend! With his unique style he commands some of the biggest stages in the world including Dancevalley, Global Gathering and Judgement Sunday in Ibiza to name a few, and last year rose to number 33 in the DJ Mag World Top 100 DJs Poll. As a DJ and producer he has injected some much needed life and vitality back into the scene and on this disc you get a glimpse of his incredible unique sound.

In the past year Goodgreef has continued to shake clubland, having co-hosted the main arena at Creamfields; put on a two thousand person New Years Day event on an old cruise liner in Newcastle; crossed the Irish Sea for a club tour of the Emerald Isle; been part of the massive 8000 capacity Helter Skelter “Life” and “Energy” parties; and returned to for a massive party with Cream at Amnesia! By championing new sounds and pushing new DJ’s the club has helped redraw the boundaries of Hard Dance. This drew national attention and at the end of 2003 Goodgreef was crowned “Hard Dance Club of the Year” and Runner-up in the overall “Club of the Year” award in the Mixmag Dance Music Awards poll, after winning “Club of The Year” the year before!
