Electrovamp is a new electro rock duo, made up of sisters Kally and Tammy. Check out our interview, with the pair, to find out what they’re all about.

Their debut single, I Don’t Like The Vibe In The VIP, is released December 31st. The entire album covers the story of a weekend from meeting a guy on Friday to the hangover on Sunday. The new track also features remixes from Jack Rokka, Slips and DN.

We invited the pair to take our questionnaire. Read on to find out the truth on Electropvamp.

How did you get started?

We are sisters & have had this dream since we were little but decided to take it seriously when we were 13 & 14.

How would you describe your style?

Electro/Pop/ In your face Fun

You’ve been described as cheeky, why would people have this view of you?

They might have got this from our lyrics as we write what we say/do in everyday life.

Tell us 3 things you think people won’t know about you?

Kally-“I can do the moonwalk”,

Tammy-“I’m allergic to salad…well that’s what I tell restaurants just in case they put anything green on my plate haha”

Situations happen to us at the same time; we even had our 1st kiss same time, same place…different boys.

We say the same things in exactly the same tone; it’s really strange.

What was the best ever gig you have played to date?

Sheffield Arena was huge & it was great having so many people react to our music!!!

What was your best gig or band that you have seen as a gig-goer?

We played a gig in 2006 with Matt Willis & watched his performance…he just goes crazy & owns the stage! Was AWESOME.

What are currently your favourite band(s)/artists?

Kally- Fedde le Grande, Neyo, The Hoosiers, Robyn

Tammy- Rhianna, Porcelain & the Tramps, Colbie Calait, The Sugababes, The Killers, Justice.

Who is your all time favourite act?

Kally- Michael Jackson.

Tammy- Christina Aguilera.

Are you a fan of the smoking ban?

Yep we are coz its stinks!

What's your pre-gig drink of choice?

Water.

Which other celebrity would you like to be trapped in a lift with and why?

Kally- “Wentworth Miller because I’d just like to ask him what it was like filming Prison Break…..yeah right haha...the smaller the lift the better!

Tammy- Dougie from Mcfly simply because he’s HOT.

Where was your most enjoyable holiday?

Tammy- Gran Canaria summer just gone, I went away for 2 weeks with my best mates. It was a bit eventful and we got chucked out of our hotel after 6 days…but it was totally blown out of proportion... the second week turned out for the better anyway.

Kally- Cyprus we go there nearly every year…lovely people and a lovely place.

If you were an animal what would you be?

Kally- A chimp they seem to have a similar personalities to me.

Tammy- I would be a tortoise because they can live for hundreds of years see a lot of things and seem to have a lazy life.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Oh my God - we will be 28 & 27! Hopefully living the dream in the music industry and looking back at all the amazing things we’ve achieved…and setting new goals for the future!
