Regular host to celebs and summer home to the likes of Miss Moneypenny's and Hed Kandi, we give you the score on El Divino, one of Ibiza's more upscale superclub
destinations.
Still one of the more glamorous of Ibiza’s nightclubs, El Divino actually
began life as a private member’s VIP club back in 1992. The club is now
open to all comers, including a host of celebs thanks to its superb location
overlooking the bay in San Antonio; a mere stone’s throw from superclub
rival, Pacha and with easy access to the millionaire yachts that dot the harbour.
Host to such nights as Miss Moneypenny’s and Hed Kandi, El Divino is
a great place to hear the best in dance music, in particular all that is house.
The main dance floor has plenty of room for a few hundred party goers, but,
like most Ibiza nightclubs, the real draw is the terrace, which has excellent
views of the harbour.
Sound: House of various sorts, especially; funky, disco, US.
Occasionally RnB, Hip Hop. Check full listings: www.eldivino-ibiza.com
Tip: Keep an eye out while out and about for flyers offering
reductions on the entrance fee, or reduced drink offerings.
