As a DJ Dave Bernardi started playing out house, progressive, and electro house, at small venues around Edinburgh way back in the day and since then he’s moved into running his own club night Bodyrock, along with production and DJ partners Fraser Shaw and Niall Auld.

An accomplished remixer and producer, who gave up a career as a chef to pursue his passion for dance music, Bernardi uses his culinary palate to whip up super trance infused house with a dash of techno. If you like it fast, but with melody, then Bernardi is for you.

In June 2005, eager to get involved into production, Dave teamed up with long time friend and guitarist Neil Young.

Their first Production "Circles of Life" reached number 9 in the Finish iTunes Electronic Charts. Since then under the alias Futuro Disko, Dave and Neil Young have completed two remix projects Damrak and Shake My Head for artists on the Total Wipes roster and another Posse for partnership label Disturbance Records. In 2006 he also made his first trip to DJ heaven Ibiza.

Urban Planet looks forward with toe-tapping anticipation for the new EP: hopefully 2007 will be a very good year indeed for this rising house music star.

Bernardi's forthcoming release entitled South which comes with a hot remix from Lee Neilson (23 East Deep Recordings) will be released over the next month on UK Digital Imprint Influential Traxx.
