Sounding like a 1980s synth-electro band being mauled by Mylo, get ready for the inventive sounds of Parisian duo Blackstrobe.

Comprising Parisian Arnaud Rebotini and Ivan Smagghe, Black Strobe like to embrace ‘the dark side of disco’ and make ‘electronic music that is not afraid to scare people.’

Smagghe was voted Jockey Slut magazines DJ of the Year 2003, who claimed that "if more people heard Ivan Smagghe play less clubs would close."

The duo are currently working on their debut album release with producer Paul Epworth (Bloc Party, The Rapture) and Alan Moulder (My Bloody Valentine, Nine Inch Nails) in a West London studio.
