Dimitri, famed for his infinite knowledge of classic and contemporary records, has put together a mix of sublime disco, rare groove, retro funk that really exhibits his passions and eclectic tastes.

Thi double CD contains two mixes which aim to be sweeter and smoother than any of his previous releases. This is a project that he has always wanted to do and has presented it with his own unique philosophy. He wanted to capture in a moment the feeling of joy, love and romance on the dance floor:

“Night clubs are social places, and although the level of sound may make it difficult to exchange words, the music and what it can carry can bring a loving feeling to people," he says. "When I DJ I love to see couples dancing. I've had some great moments when I could really feel the joy and the love in a club, and those moments will stay very dear to me. On this compilation I wanted to create that vibe of warm happiness through the selection of songs, a program that you could also enjoy in any environment.”

Within this compilation you will find treasured classics as well contemporary records that fuel romance. Listen out for the jazz house diva India with The Count Basie Orchestra “To be in love”, the legendary Grace Jones “La Vie en Rose” and the infectious Cerrone “Hooked on you”.

Deep in the mix you will find a real rare gem, an exclusive remix of "Down to love town" by The Originals which has been a mainstay in Dimitri’s sets since he re-edited it for his first Playboy compilation.
